Midwest-born and raised artist with a blue-collar, old-school punk-rock, get-it-done attitude. My work explores emotion through the human figure, using distorted anatomy, expressive gesture, saturated color, and aggressive linework to reveal what exists beneath the surface. I combine figurative expressionism with neo-expressionist and street-art influences, embracing drips, scratches, visible brushwork, and imperfect marks as essential parts of the process. Faces, hands, bodies, and symbols become vehicles for vulnerability, desire, isolation, strength, and mortality. I am interested in the tension between beauty and discomfort, control and chaos, and realism and abstraction. Rather than simply depicting the human form, I use it as a language for emotions that are difficult to put into words. My paintings are meant to feel alive—raw, confrontational, imperfect, and intensely human.
