Kimberly Curry-Pieper Collection

Kimberly was born in Pennsylvania and grew up in central New York. After high school he attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and worked in the fashion industry designing clothing accessories and custom bridalwear. She took a break from fashion after closing her bridal design business.

She moved to Phoenix in 2001 and decided to complete her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Arizona State University. While taking classes she discovered ceramics and fell in love with the medium. Since graduating in 2010 her creative process has evolved and mixes wheel throwing and hand building. Her use of glazes and atmospheric firing creates lively and spontaneous surfaces that complement her sculptural forms.
