Growing up Julia’s version of playing was making things. She sold her first piece of handmade jewelry at age 13 and she was hooked. She has become a well know expert at ancient weaving techniques such as Viking Knit, Chain Mail, and Kumihimo. She has also expanded her skill working with metals to include hand-made chains with unique link designs.

She facilitates jewelry making workshops in various locations throughout Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix area.
