Painting is the essence of my life, an unexplained necessity to express something I feel or imagine. It is like a journey to the deeper layers of the self, beneath the everyday banalities. It is silent music played by colors. As Georgia O’Keeffe would say: “I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way - things I had no words for.” My international journey brought me from Poland to France, and finally to the United States, where I was able to fulfill my dream of becoming an accomplished and happy artist.
