  • Making art is my way of looking inward—of expressing the deepest parts of myself when words fall short. I use an intuitive process to explore themes of nature, motherhood, and spiritual transcendence, guided by a belief that the sacred can be found in everyday moments, especially in the natural world. My work seeks to elevate these subjects and radiate a sense of wonder and positive energy to those who encounter it.

My mission as an artist is to inspire and uplift. I aim to create pieces that not only beautify their surroundings but also invite viewers to connect with the best parts of themselves. In my work, the earthly meets the ethereal, blending abstract and representational elements to create a space where we can coexist with the divine. Horses appear frequently in my work, not as literal subjects but as emissaries of spirit and strength. I have always been drawn to their quiet power, their gentleness and intuition, and the way they symbolize connection to something ancient and enduring.

Ultimately, my art is a gentle invitation to see, feel, and remember what matters. We are constantly surrounded by quiet wonders, if only we take the time to pause and notice. I see these paintings as both mirrors and meditations: they reflect internal landscapes while also inviting stillness and contemplation.

  • My paintings are characterized by fluid abstraction, controlled line work, and expressive marks. They frequently feature equine, avian, and botanical motifs. These figures often dissolve into washes of color or are punctuated by bursts of bold crayon or gestural ink. Each piece conveys the tension between movement and stillness, between vulnerability and resilience. My palette is rooted in nature—earthy rusts, mineral greens, stormy blues—yet I often intentionally introduce unexpected pops of color to evoke energy or emotion. I think of my paintings as meditations, visual poetry to articulate those fleeting feelings and experiences that can be hard to describe in words.

  • Ultimately, my artwork is about presence. It’s about pausing long enough to witness beauty—raw, imperfect, and quietly extraordinary. Using watercolor, pastel, and ink, I paint intuitively, letting emotion guide color and line. I am particularly inspired by the natural world around me. Horses often emerge as quiet symbols of strength, grace, and spiritual connection. I love to paint other nature imagery as well, especially birds and plants. Motherhood has had a significant impact on my work as well. When my daughter was born in 2022, it completely transformed my art practice. Becoming a mother required me to tap into my intuition and reignited my creative spark. I found my authentic artistic voice and discovered the joys of mixed media painting. My art has become more expressive and my process more intuitive, mirroring my own journey into motherhood. My daughter already loves art supplies, and I am now learning from her own uninhibited creative spirit.
